Over 30 years ago, Uncle Larry and Aunty Hoku’s dream was to create an event that met the needs of the participating halau and guests, a hula festival run by hula dancers with a focus on aloha and hospitality.

In partnership with the Hilton Hawaiian Village, this long-standing tradition offers malihina and kama’aina, alike, to witness a showcase of hula from amazing halau from across the pae ‘aina and Japan.

Through the years, our halau has partnered with local businesses who come and share their hana noeau, apparel, home decor, jewelry, etc, in the event’s craft fair. This 3 day event/production occurs during Labor Day weekend at the Hilton Hawaiian Village.
