I met Aunty Mary Louise Kekuewa and Aunty Paulette Kahalepuna in October 1999. I attended class once a week till September 2014 when Aunty Paulette passed away. I learned the two traditional Feather Lei  styles: Wili Poepoe and Wili Kamoe , Humupapa-Hatband Lei, Kahili and Feather Cape from them.  Aunty Mary Lou and Paulette gave me permission to teach classes. I like to teach just the way they taught me Ohana style. I’m having fun making leis and It makes me feel good. I love feathers and they give me good memories of my Kumus. I just love the Hawaiian Arts of Feather Leis.
